A golf course to remember

Each hole on our beautiful park and forest path has a varied character thanks to its diverse nature. This easy-to-walk 18-hole course grows in popularity every year and is characterized for its elements of ponds and streams.

The first tee is located high after a hefty uphill climb from the clubhouses, so a good tip is to be out in good time. Once up there you can look out over the first hole, far and straight towards the green, which is framed by an oak slope on one side and pine forest on the other. Fairway is wide and open from the tee, so that you get away well. A bunker is located so that it can catch the rash, otherwise it is just to play straight ahead. The green is raised and deep, so it’s a good thing to look for where the flag stands. The hole can feel a long way, but with some successful fairways and a decent play it is absolutely possible to make a good result.

The second hole is long. The wind is crucial to how many strokes you need for the green. A good rash ends up just to the right of the fairways bunker, so that the ball can roll towards or past the 150 mark. A rash too far to the right makes the second battle far, and preferably the ball will then have landed on or very close to the green. The green has a small slope before the front edge that gladly captures the ball. Tips. The lock-Ghanator can win length by going over or hitting a draw around the fairways bunnies.

The hole is one of the course’s trickier. From yellow tee You do not see the green. The verdict is to be partly passed over a ridge with a shrub, which follows the fairway as it folds up to the right. The wind and the driver become easy too far, but in the headwinds it is needed for the vast majority to get over the mountain shame. From red tee beds a good rash for a nice result, because the fairway is open from the tee. However, the forest on the right is in the game for everyone, all the way to the green. When you go up against the green there is a bell to be dished. This is to allow the next ball to play out. Tips. Aim for the 150-stick and choose lollipop after the wind blows.

A hole for those who like water. Rash from the elevated position, down to the green lying on a peninsula. Should you go for the couple, you should over the water and stay on the green with the rash. The left part of the green is narrow; A too long blow is likely to roll down into the water on the other side. One option is to play up to the left of the green and roll in the ball from there near the hole. How to play the hole depends a lot on the weather. A windy day, the wind will be in play, especially at high strokes that reach over the wooden peaks. Tips. Dare to aim at the right part of the green. There it is deeper and it is easier to get the ball to stop.

The verdict is a challenge on hole number 5. The verdict should pass a narrow party with Woods on both sides, so it comes to hitting straight. If you pass through the forest, the ball is good for a fairly simple game when the fairway folds off to the left down towards green. A location in front of a good recording mode. As long as the ball is on the finely cut part, there is the possibility of reaching the green. The green receives a ball with a high trajectory well, but it is also possible to roll into the ball. Tips. As the fairway swings, there is not really any reason to try to beat giant far on the rash.

You can start by admiring the view. The hole is long and straight, and behind the green you can see the water of Bråviken with the forests on the other side. Down there is also a cluster of houses in the new Mauritzberg, which is slowly emerging. Beautiful place for time for reflection. As the hole is long, not only the verdict but also the following fairways must be successful. The challenge on this hole lies mostly around the bunkers that lie strategically around and on the fairway. Would you get stuck there so don’t be afraid to use a long stick, because they are relatively easy to get out of. The game can be done from virtually any distance. The green is big, but difficult to get the ball to stay on. Tips. Behind the green it is a narrow grass lot and late water, so avoid getting too far. Especially if the green is hard rolls ball easily off.

A pair of 3-holes that can be harder than it seems at the first glance, completely depending on the direction the wind blows at. If you are not lucky enough to get into the rough left, you can save yourself, because the grass there is not so thick. When the ball is on the green, it is necessary to read the putt line carefully considering the ondulation. The flag placement also makes the hole can be really exciting, or sometimes also relatively easy for that matter. On this hole, everyone can make pairs. Tips. Depending on the wind, the club choice can be anything from a loud iron to a wooden tusk.

A pair of 4-holes with several difficult passages to pass by. The rash should preferably be so far as to open the fairway towards green. The green is located after a narrow passage with a pond on one side and a bunker on the other. If you are in the middle of the fairway, the passage will be manageable, the ball can still roll up. But if you are lying to the left of the fairway, it is much harder to reach the green, because you have to hit a high blow over the pond and also get the ball to stop. If you are not sure about these kinds, it may be a good idea to play your way near, but not in, the pond and the bunker. Then the entry will be easy, because the green is great. However, it is heavily undulated, so you have to check carefully where the flag stands, because otherwise the ball rolls easily away far. Tips. A good benchmark at the beat is for the lock-ghanator the large oak on the left and for the high-rise the oak straight ahead at the 150 mark.

This par 4 hole is, according to the course’s slope, the hardest. You should think through the battles up to the green. With the rash you can get past a passage of oak trees on both sides. A good rash ends up on the left side of fairways. From there, the hole is open with a downhill after the oak. Two blows up at Green are an opportunity for many. A too short rash or one on the right causes the oak to be put into play. Then it’s a bit too far for most people to knock over the trees and still reach the green. Below the hill is a pond on the right. Tips. If you plan to reach the green on two strokes, the verdict is very significant so that you get a good line on the second shot towards the green. The ball is happily rolling right at the oak, so please hold the rash a bit.

A pair of 4-holes with a forest on the left and ruff down to water to the right. Those who want to reach green in two battles must come almost right up to the bunker with the rash. It is better to end up a little to the right than on the left, otherwise the risk is that the Forest Hill obscures the road towards green. Then the green is good for a manageable play. When the way forward is free, it is relatively easy to reach green. A small hill on the left can catch some balls, but otherwise it will certainly be good. The green is large, so a track before the flag is positioned facilitates the putting. Tips. If the ball lands to the left at the beat, it may be tempting to try to go over the closest trees or to walk in the hatch between the trees, which are there. But it rarely succeeds, because the trajectory follows the edge of the forest. Better to play

A pair of 4-holes where it comes to placing the ball far forward if you want to cross the water at the other stroke. However, a long rash that goes to the right risks ending up in the water. Letting the ball follow the fairway is a good idea. Those who are unsure about the possibility of reaching over the water do well to play forward to get a simple input from a good location. Many balls are what is stuck on the road. Even further on, the trench has an ability to draw balls, if they turn the smallest too far to the left. In addition, a bunker to the right can catch attempts at long-haul. Well over the water there is a fairly large fairway, which allows a too short but straight-in still beds for a simple blow up on the green. Tips. If it is dry in the ground or blowing with wind increases the risk of walking in the water and the one that beats long must hold again.

This par 4 hole is one of the most beautiful and fun to play. However, much can happen on the road. The rash should preferably end up to the left of the right bunker. The left fairways bunker usually does not pose any major problems, as it is quite easy to get out of. The game is made up the highest steep of the runway. Halfway up to the left is a hill with stone slab and ruff. Hard to find the ball there. If you are on the right side of the fairway, the ball is first over a forest and well up there is rough and stone rocks. Hard to find the ball there too. But the green is long, large and fully pricking. Tips. To find out where the flag is placed is wise, because it can distinguish 40 meters and not always visible from the fairway.

A long pair of 3 holes with a fairway that has no bunkers or other obstacles. If the rash does not reach the green, it should still embed a simple entry. To the left is a ruff with grass, which can be hit from without big problems. To the right there are a few bushes that can pose problems, but there should not be. To the left of green is the deepest bunker in the path. If you hit too far there is another bunker behind the green, which catches the rash. Tips. The wind has significance for how the hole can be played. If the wind comes from the right you can get help from it to land the ball softly on the green.

A beautiful pair of 4-holes that are great fun to play. The hole is a dogleg right with a forest that makes you not see green from the tee. The selection shall reach the area to the right of the 150 mark, where the fairway swings. Then you have the free position until the green. A too short rash means that you have to go over a forest, unless you choose to play out. But even then, it is often necessary to have to pass bushes and a bunker. The second battle can be a gig or an attempt to reach the green. In both cases, the water on the left is in the game. To the right there is a bunker, which can be a ball catcher. An overly long entry is in a difficult cabin. Better then to end up short and roll in the ball near the flag. Tips. If the green does not appear, you may take another benchmark; Two pine trees behind the green work fine.

A couple of 5 holes with a large landing area where, however, a bunker guards the left side. Along the right side is the forest, which means that you should avoid the slice. Also the trench before the forest catches many balls, but if it is not rained too much, it is sometimes possible to beat from there. A successful rash beds for a second shot, where it is also possible to hit far. The bunkers on the right are the only problem. In the right weather, the hitters can reach the green on two types, others have a good chance of doing it on three. Tips. The game is tricky, because the green is undulated and the ball is keen to roll off, especially if the flag stands short.

Much water distinguishes this par 3-hole. Especially clearly, the water is in the game from the yellow/white/blue tee, where the rash is struck all over the pond. From the red tee, the fairway is open right up to the green, with the water flowing to the right. Two bunkers frame in green and they are often in the game, especially the one on the left. But for those who have a decent track of their clubs and strokes, it is a pretty simple hole, not least because the green is large and therefore should be easy to meet. Tips. Often a club length is needed more than what you thought from the start of this hole.

A pair of 4 holes that are one of the toughest and longest holes in the course. Aiming straight towards the 150 meter mark guaring a huge fairway bunker on the left side. For those who succeed in the fairway, the way forward is open and with a really long game you can reach the elevated green. A bunker to the left in front of the green can pose additional problems. The green is large, which means that the flag placement is important to keep track of. Tips. The hitters can go over the bunker and win the length.

One of Sweden’s best finishing holes, and most beautiful, with the castle in the background. All the way from the tee, the club house and the castle are played-and there behind Bråviken. A very beautiful finishing hole, which invites you to return to Mauritzberg. The rash takes place against a fairway with a beautiful rippling creek on the right-hand side that flows into a large pond. To the left is the ruff all the way up to where the fairway folds off to the right. White bunkers are strategically located on the left side and can give trouble to those who try to stay away from the water. When approaching the pond on 1, 2 or more strokes it is tempting to gena across the water. Otherwise, you can follow the fairway up to a good recording mode, where only a few more bunkers around the green can become problems. As usual, it is important to keep track of where the flag stands for the green is both large and undulated. Tips. On the other side of the pond is a decent large landing area and a large green. So why not try it?
