Count Bondesal, among the Rococo
This Hall is located on the main building’s ground floor and is characterized for its period murals purchased in France. They are made by the artist and Hovintendenten Johan Pasch, who was of an artistic family. Pasch collaborated with Carl Hårleman to decorate the royal palace.
The wall painting with a fountain has the same rococo style with a seashells as on the mirror in the hallway. In the different wall fields you can see the typical Rococo attributes in both frames and in different parts of the paintings.
In Windows The sneak with a view of the water stands a magnificent bust of Charles XIII, who was called Duke Charles. He took office as king after his brother Gustav III, who was murdered and Gustav IV Adolf who was deposed.
