The Jägarsalen, among Royals
The walls of the rustic and conviable Hunter’s Hall are full of historical motifs. The favourite places for dinner are usually on the windows, when you have a breathtaking view over Bråviken. During ÅRET’s cold and dark evenings, we ignite the fireplace to create a cozy atmosphere.
In Jägarsalen there is a portrait of the Privy Council Mauritz Birgersson Grip, the castle’s first owner.
The north wing is also called the Sea Wing. Here the Castle Kitchen has always been located, as it was customary in the manors to have the near water because of the fire hazard and the rather loud work.
